Phoenix Singers is always pleased to welcome new members who share our love of music and performing.

Whether you have years of singing experience, have not sung since school or simply want to try something new, you will find a friendly and supportive welcome at Phoenix. You do not need to be a perfect singer — just bring enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to learn.

What do we sing?

Our repertoire includes a lively mix of contemporary songs, musical theatre favourites, popular classics and exciting choral arrangements.

We enjoy performing music that challenges us, builds confidence and gives every section of the choir its moment to shine. Above all, we love creating performances that are full of energy, personality and memorable harmonies.

What are rehearsals like?

Rehearsals are friendly, focused and full of laughter. We work hard, but the atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, with plenty of help available as you learn the music.

You will rehearse with your vocal section, develop your confidence and gradually see each song come together as part of the full choir sound.

Rehearsals take place every Tuesday at 7:30pm at Moss Bank Mission.

Who can join?

Phoenix Singers welcomes adult singers across all voice parts.

You do not need professional experience, and you do not need to be able to read music. Some of our members have sung for many years, while others joined with very little choir experience.

What matters most is that you enjoy singing, attend rehearsals regularly and want to contribute to the choir.
