Nathan

Nathan Blackburn is a tenor, choir conductor and musical theatre performer with a lifelong passion for singing and live performance. His musical interests span contemporary choir music, musical theatre and classical crossover, and he brings energy, enthusiasm and a strong sense of showmanship to Phoenix Singers.

Nathan has performed in a variety of musical theatre productions, including the role of Benny in Anne Dalton's award-winning musical Her Benny, along with a range of other leading and supporting roles. Away from the stage, he is passionate about helping others discover the joy of singing and creating performances that audiences will remember.

Nathan joined Phoenix Singers because of his love of music and his desire to help the choir grow, both musically and as a welcoming community. For him, one of the greatest rewards is seeing weeks of rehearsals come together and sharing the excitement of delivering a performance that both the choir and the audience can be proud of.
