Summer Picnic 2026

We enjoyed a brilliant afternoon together at King George V Playing Fields in Haydock for our Phoenix Summer Picnic — a chance to relax, have some fun and celebrate the success of our very first ticketed concert.

The concert was a fantastic milestone for the choir, helping us raise funds to support Phoenix Singers as we continue to grow, as well as £250 for The Walton Centre, where one of our members is currently being cared for.

Our picnic was the perfect way to celebrate, with everyone bringing food to share, plenty of games, a quiz, and lots of laughs.

A lovely afternoon with a wonderful group of people; and a very fitting celebration of everything we’ve achieved together.
